Lost in Paradise
Giclee print on enhanced Photo Paper
Size: 24 x 36

When I contemplate my humble, but proud beginnings as a son of a Pennsylvania blue-collar family with a strong work ethic, I remember a young man who put myself through trade school to be a Journeyman Machinist and went on to Penn State to study business, management, technology and sociology. I currently enjoy a successful career as a manufacturing manager, manufacturing process and product engineer.

My first serious interest in photography was inspired by a love of history, of the Civil War and by Matthew P. Brady's photographs of the war. When I visited Civil War battle sites, I began to create a photographic library of those sites in black and white. I was further inspired when one of those photographs was awarded second place in a national contest sponsored by the United States Department of the Interior.

When I purchased my first digital camera, I immediately realized its advantages. Practicing composition and lighting were much more affordable because the results could be reviewed immediately. Since owning a computer business for four years, my computer experience was a distinct advantage for the transition from traditional to digital photography.

In addition to my creative photography of the Civil War sites and reenactments, my extensive library includes autumn in the Northeast, scenes of the South, and the Caribbean and Botanical images. These enhanced photographic Giclee images are used as wall decor and signed originals are available on canvas, high quality photo or watercolor paper in color, sepia tone, or black and white.

My freelance work includes regular assignments for The Palm Beach Post (Residences, Notables, and Real Estate Weekend), and commercial and fashion clients. I have also photographed noted celebrities, musicians and sports figures.

Throughout my many professional ventures I have always realized that one of my greatest joys comes from creating photographic images that bring joy and wonder to others.
